Powerscourt Gardens

Powerscourt Gardens were beautiful. It's a country estate in County Wicklow with huge gardens, a tower, fountains, even a pet cemetery! Mike has decided he wants a tower in our yard, complete with canon just like this one. Terraced gardens slope away from the house toward the man-made lake, with Sugarloaf Mountain in the background. There's also a Japanese garden, and tons of azaleas and rhododendrons. We spent a couple of relaxing hours there just walking around and admiring the gardens. We didn't envy the poor guy who has to cut all that grass though!
