The "Vee"

The "Vee" is a section of road between Cahir and Listowel that has some really great views, as in panoramic views. You can look 180 degrees and see for miles in every direction. Green and gold fields, little tiny white dots of sheep, houses that look like doll houses from way up there. Now there is a price to pay for this, the road is very narrow in places and the "Vee" itself is a major hairpin turn. There are also loose sheep up there so you have keep an eye out for them because sometimes you come around a curve and...Surprise!..there's a lamb in the road right in front of you! It makes for some tense driving situations. But, like I said, the views are incredible. I realized the next day that my point-n-shoot has a panorama mode, but it was too late to capture the breadth of the view from the Vee, and we didn't have time to go back for pictures. :(
